BLACK ANGUS STEAKHOUSE TO OPEN DOORS IN BRENTWOOD
New Location Will Kick Off Company’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

IRVINE, Calif. – Black Angus Steakhouse, a Steakhouse that captures the flavor of the American West, has announced it will open its doors in the Northern Calif. community of Brentwood in early 2014. The Brentwood restaurant marks the ninth location in Northern Calif., totaling 45 steakhouses for this western regional brand. The Brentwood opening also marks the company’s 50th anniversary.

Leading the company’s development plan is David Wolfgram, President and Chief Executive Officer for Black Angus Steakhouse.  “We are thrilled to open our new Brentwood location, bringing a classic and memorable steakhouse experience to the city of Brentwood,” said Wolfgram.  “We have received tremendous support from the city since day one; we look forward to forging strong relationships with local residents and becoming a valued member of the community.”

Creating 100 jobs in the area, the new location is approximately 7,900 square-feet, with 900 square-feet of outdoor patio space that seats an additional 52 guests.  The patio area will boast exterior heating and misting systems to accommodate all seasons, and several TVs including a 70-inch “hero” screen.  The new restaurant will also feature Black Angus’ BullsEye Bar where guests can enjoy their favorite sports games on multiple hi-def flat screens while they enjoy their steakhouse fare or craveable bar bites.  The bar will also include free Wi-Fi. The BullsEye Bar menu features “steak takes” on traditional bar food, like Filet Mignon Sliders, as well as weekday specials and Happy Hour Monday thru Friday.

The full Black Angus menu is available in the restaurant or bar and offers a range of appetizers, salads, burgers and signature entrees including slow-roasted prime rib, fire-grilled steaks aged a minimum of 21 days, and seafood.

“We are all excited to welcome Black Angus Steakhouse to the Brentwood community,” said Alex Greenwood, Economic Development Manager for the City of Brentwood. “It is exactly the kind of fun, high-quality restaurant that our residents are looking for, and it’s a great fit for our regional lifestyle center, The Streets of Brentwood.”
