2011 Brentwood Corn Festival

The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce presents The 2011 Brentwood CornFest - July 8, 9 & 10 - Sand Creek & Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood.

 

BRENTWOOD, Calif. (May 16, 2011) - The Brentwood CornFest, presented by Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, takes place the second weekend of July on Friday, July 8 (3 p.m. - 10 p.m.); Saturday, July 9 (10:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.); and Sunday, July 10 (10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.). Since 1985, the Chamber along with many volunteers and non-profit groups in Brentwood celebrate our agricultural heritage in a three-day weekend of fun, food and entertainment. It will be located in a new location at Brentwood Blvd. and Sand Creek Road on 38 acres with an additional 20 acres for parking.


The festival draws over 40,000 attendees in one weekend and events include:

  • Spectacular Friday night fireworks show

  • Two stages of music with continuous live entertainment. Special musical guests include AC/Dshe, Great White, Public Eye & Cream Of Clapton

  • Children's fun area with petting zoo, jump houses and games

  • Carnival attractions with the nation's largest ferris wheel

  • Classic car show

  • More than 300 arts and crafts vendors

  • Lots of great tasty food vendors, local grown corn plus a micro beer and wine garden

  • Information alley showcasing some of the best local businesses

With shaded tents to keep everyone cool from the hot sun, CornFest promises to be loads of fun for everyone.


Proceeds from the fair supports members and local charities. To many of the non-profit groups, this is the largest fundraiser of the year. CornFest would not exist without generous sponsorships and community support. Over two dozen groups participate in this event including: All Out Sports League, American Cancer Society, American Legion, Kiwanis, Lions, Rotary, Delta Community Services, Police Explorers, Freedom High Boys Soccer, Immaculate Heart Of Mary, Knights of Columbus, Masonic Lodge, Soroptimist and many more.

 

Tickets and Information


Tickets to the Brentwood CornFest are $10 for general admission, $5 for seniors (65 and older) and children (ages 6 - 12). It is free for children ages 5 and younger. Presale tickets will be available at the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce or by calling the chamber office. Please note: pets, outside beverages, coolers, and water projecting devices are not allowed into CornFest.
