Brentwood Farmers' Market
It's a bright and sunny day! It's fresh! It's fun! It's Saturday!
It's a day to visit the Brentwood Farmers' Market. This is the place to shop for the season's freshest fruits and vegetables grown and brought directly from the local orchards and farms.
Aside from the many farms which sell fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables, there are also a number of dry goods producers found in the market.
When we went a few weeks ago, we found fresh breads and pastries, meats and seafood. There were also some home-made yummy chocolates and pies, and even specialty Mexican food and Indian food.
There was even a stall which provided balloon twisting for children.
The area felt more alive with some live music entertaining the sellers and shoppers.
It certainly made the sunny weekend morning more enjoyable and relaxing!
The Brentwood Farmers' Market runs on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon until October 25, 2009. It is held right in downtown Brentwood, on First Street.
