One of the biggest perks of living in the Brentwood area is having all the fresh fruits and vegetables around us, especially during the summer season. Take advantage! The Brentwood Farmers Market is every Saturday from 8:00 - 12:00 noon, from March 31 to November 17, 2012 and that's always a great way to kick off the weekend.
For even fresher fruits, try picking them yourself! It's cherry-picking time! Most U-Pick farms open for cherry-picking starting Memorial Day Weekend so expect a big crowd that weekend and the next few weekends. We at Everything Brentwood were lucky to have a farm tour at one of our favorite farms, Bacchini's Fruit Tree.
Check out the Harvest Time website for more information about the various farms in the Brentwood area, including information on what farms and fruits are available for U-Pick.
