School is out and the heat is on… Summer is here!
This means more park days, play dates, pool times, backyard barbeques, summer sports, summer camps, community events, and more!
Below is our (growing) list of events and activities in and around Brentwood
for June and July 2015. If you have an event or activity coming up that’s open to the public, please submit them to us through our Events Website at www.brentwoodevents.com (instead of via email).
The Brentwood Farmers' Market is ongoing through summer - every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. It started back in March 7, 2015 and will be on until November 21, 2015. It’s in Downtown Brentwood, on First Street, between Chestnut and Oak Streets.
The Cinelux Delta Cinema in Downtown Brentwood is again having their Family Film Festival Summer Series on Wednesdays and Thursdays from June 10-11, 2015 until July 22-23. Here is the list of movies this year. Showtime is at 10:00 AM and admission is $1.50!
The City of Brentwood presents Starry Nights in Brentwood, Summer Concert Series 2015. Fridays from June 12 – August 21 (except July 3 and 10). The show starts at 7:00 p.m. and is held at the City Park in Downtown Brentwood. Check out the Concert Line-Up for this year.
Movies in the Plaza at Oakley Civic Center Plaza. Enjoy a movie under the stars in the heart of Downtown Oakley. Admission is free and movies start at dusk. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Snacks available for purchase. Remaining dates are:
June 13 Maleficent
July 3 The Lego Movie
August 1 Big Hero 6
September 26 Guardians of the Galaxy
October 10 Monsters University

The Streets of Brentwood is offering a Brentwood U-Pick Experience, and there `are a few remaining dates in June and July! Check it out at the Streets of Brentwood Events Page.
Brentwood Relay for Life is on June 27-28, 2015 from 9 a.m. at Heritage High School on American Avenue, Brentwood. Check out their event page here.
Oakley’s Cityhood Celebration is on July 4, 2015 (Saturday) at Freedom Basin Park. Celebrate Oakley’s 16th birthday with jumpies, games, food, music, and fireworks. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the fun. Wristbands at $5. Kids 5 and under are free. For more information, check out the City of Oakley Spring/Summer Recreation Guide.
The Harvest Time Festival is a two-day celebration of the harvest season in Brentwood with all of our local farms and community! Now on its second year, it will be held on July 11 and 12, 2015 at the City Park in Downtown Brentwood. Check out their press release here, and more information to come!
Hot Brentwood Days Car Show, featuring "No Fly List," a Beatles Tribute band on August 1, 2015 (Saturday) from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Downtown Brentwood, Oak & First Streets. This event is sponsored by the Downtown Brentwood Coalition. Admission is free!
