Hometown Halloween in Downtown Brentwood

This is our first year to check out the Hometown Halloween in downtown Brentwood and my kids and I had a lot of fun walking around town and enjoying the festivities. The place was filled with kids dressed up for Halloween and the costumes lit up the block! Folks lined up to the man made haunted house and though we didn’t get to experience the tour, it was evident that those who patiently waited in line came out pleased.
Business establishments geared up by decorating their offices and setting up booths manned by friendly staff happily passing out treats and information about their businesses. My kids had a great time getting treats from all the booths! There was also ample security in place, which made me feel secure walking around with my kids. It was also nice to see familiar faces in the event, which goes to show that though Brentwood may be a small town, it’s the camaraderie among residents and visitors alike that makes an event like this charming and wholesome.
