Message from the Board

To All Marsh Creek Families:

What is the Parents Club? We are parents of Marsh Creek students, and our goals are to build our school community and raise money to pay for school needs not covered by state and federal funding. Every Marsh Creek parent or family member is a part of Parents Club! Please join us at our monthly meetings to share ideas and plan events and fundraisers.

Fun events we are planning this year will include: the ever-popular Halloween Fest, Scholastic Book Fairs, Spirit week and movie night, and Chuck E. Cheese nights. Check your Friday folders every week to see what’s coming up!

Again this year our school continues to suffer budget cuts by the state of California. The Parents Club plans to assist in paying for field trips, playground supervision, library books, classroom supplies, breakfast with the principal, Odyssey of the Mind, and other expenses. We can only do this with your support! Please support the Tax Donation drive and fundraisers throughout the year! Every dollar helps our teachers create a better learning experience for every student.

Art Docent Program
Head Art Docent - Annette Alvarez

Did you know that art stimulates creative thinking skills, mathematical skills, and self-confidence? The Art Docent program provides a parent-volunteer run series of art lessons for students.

Training, lessons, and materials are all provided for volunteers to lead a monthly classroom art project. To make sure your child benefits from these art lessons, sign-up as an Art Docent in your child's class! Speak with your child's teacher or email the Parents Club to volunteer.
