What is Love 4 Our Neighbors?

Love 4 Our Neighbors is a completely volunteer-run organization based in Brentwood and lead by people who believe the Bible. We serve ALL people regardless of beliefs, race or socio-economic standing. We are specifically committed to serving the vulnerable and forgotten people in our world, whether orphaned, widowed, disabled or otherwise invisible as a result of extreme poverty, hunger, war or natural disaster.

What is your mission/vision?

We exist to love people. By putting our love into action, we empower others to act. Together, we will bring hope to a hurting world while tangibly meeting people’s basic needs - locally and globally.

Please give us some information on the organization’s major projects:

Adopt-A-Family (Seasonal) – This is our 3rd Christmas season coordinating the adoption of local families in need. We will have about a dozen families on our list this year – our biggest year yet - and so far only 4 are being adopted. If you’re interested in adopting a local family please call 925.240.3329 or email for information.

Deployed Soldier & Veteran Support (Ongoing) – We have partnered with Operation Creekside to help them continue sending care packages to our deployed soldiers but also to help move them into their next phase - care for and service of our wounded returning veterans. For more information on this program, please visit:

Kisima Initiative U.S. (Ongoing) – We have developed a sponsorship program to support the basic care and education of vulnerable children outside of Nairobi, Kenya. A comprehensive water project will launch in 2013 to supply clean water to thousands of families in rural villages outside of Nairobi. To sponsor a child or check the status of our water project, please visit for more information.

How can the community best help your cause, and how can they contact you?

You help our cause the most, when you DO something. You decide what that is – buy snacks for the troop boxes, write letters to soldiers, sponsor a child, adopt a family for Christmas, hold a fundraiser for one of our projects... the possibilities are limited only by your imagination. To get in touch with us call 925.240.3329 or email
